Who is The Bypass Fashionista? MOM,FASHION MISFIT and LOVER of SHOES

I bet you’re curious about the name, right? No? Well, too bad — I’ve got your attention now!  I’ve always had a flair for fashion. What started with selling accessories on a street corner turned into a full-blown passion — and eventually, my own business. But rather than bore you with my age or how fabulous my family is (because they are), let’s get to the real story.  Before 2007, I was living life to the fullest — eating whatever I wanted, without a care in the world — until one doctor’s appointment stopped me in my stylish tracks. The words “You’re headed for self-destruction” hit me like a designer heel to the face. Translation? Hypertension, diabetes, and a future I didn’t want.

So, in 2007, I made a life-changing decision. Despite the whispers and side-eyes, I went through what many called “The Star Jones Surgery.” The stigma was real, but so was my determination. That procedure didn’t just change my health — it transformed my life.

And let me tell you — when your body changes faster than your wardrobe can keep up, fashion gets complicated! My clothes would fit one day and hang off me the next. But over the years, I learned how to dress my evolving body, rebuild my confidence, and redefine my style — one outfit at a time.

Fast forward to 2025, after 18 years of learning, adjusting, compressing, and reshaping — The Bypass Fashionista was born.

Now, I use everything I’ve learned to help other women feel just as confident in their skin (and their clothes!) as I do. Because when it comes to style, I don’t just talk about transformation —
I live it!
